Workers at Boeing, the world’s largest aircraft manufacturer, have gone on strike demanding higher wage increases. Employees at Boeing’s factories in Washington, Oregon, and California began the strike on the 13th. This strike, led by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), involves 33,000 union members and is the first large-scale strike since the global financial crisis in 2008, marking the first in 16 years. The strike is expected to cause inevitable delays in aircraft deliveries.
